Amanda Marchetti

Amanda is a busy mom and hairstylist who’s used to working long hours on her feet. She found Pilates in 2015 as a way to strengthen her body, ease back pain, increase flexibility, and prevent injury with a physically demanding job. Recognizing the benefits that Pilates provides towards overall health and physical fitness, she completed the 600 hour Power Pilates Comprehensive Certification. Amanda firmly believes in Joseph Pilates’ philosophy that “Change happens through movement, and movement heals“. She credits Pilates for keeping her physical and mental well-being in balance and strives to share the benefits of Pilates with as many people as possible.

Karen is a dedicated First Grade Teacher, a loving dog-mom, and an inspired Pilates instructor. In her spare time, Karen can be found doing almost anything outside! She enjoys hiking, ATVing, going for walks with her dog, snowmobiling, water skiing, and more. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, take yoga and Pilates classes, and relax by the lake.

Karen found Pilates in 2013 when she tried a class in hopes of a fun, challenging change from the typical gym setting. From that very first class, Karen fell in love and has continued her Pilates practice ever since. She became certified to teach both Beginner and Intermediate Pilates classes through Power Pilates Core Mat I & II training programs. Karen is excited to bring her Pilates experience to Zen Yoga & Wellness to share the wonderful benefits of Pilates with all who join her classes.

Ron

Ron discovered yoga in a pursuit to connect physical and mental well being within a spiritual pathway. His practice began in 2000, focused for many years solely on Ashtanga yoga. Desiring more freedom of personal expression and Asana arrangements he came to practice, vinyasa, hot, and power yoga disciplines.

He is a 200hr certified yoga teacher through My Vinyasa Practice in Austin, TX. His Asana practice focuses on movement, connection, and grace. He believes Yoga should be explored and developed with consideration to each individuals physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
