Frequently Asked Questions

General Information

What types of classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of yoga, barre, and Pilates classes. Visit our Class Descriptions page for more details on each offering.

Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
Not at all! Yoga is for everyone, regardless of flexibility. Our instructors provide modifications to help all students feel comfortable.

Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Beginners are welcome in all of our classes, and our instructors provide guidance and modifications to support your experience. While you’re welcome to join any class, we highly recommend starting with our gentler, slower-paced options like Gentle Yoga, Yoga for Anxiety, and Nidra Flow for a smooth introduction. Additionally, we offer a 6-Week Beginner Yoga Series throughout the year - keep an eye out for upcoming offerings!

How do I sign up for a class?
You can register through our website schedule, mobile app (available on apple, or android) or by calling the studio. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance!

What should I bring to class?
We provide yoga mats and all other props, but you’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. Don’t forget a water bottle, and if you’re attending a heated class, a towel is recommended.

What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. Avoid overly loose clothing that might shift during poses.

Studio Policies & Memberships

Do you offer memberships and class packages?
Yes! We offer drop-in rates, class packs, and unlimited memberships to fit your needs. Check our pricing page for details.

Do memberships include all class types?
Our Unlimited memberships include all regularly scheduled classes to both locations - Westminster and Orchard Hills. Specialty workshops, pop-up classes and private sessions all have additional fees.

Do I need to be a member of Orchard Hills Athletic Club to attend classes at your Lancaster location?
No. Our Lancaster location is inside Orchard Hills Athletic Club, but you don’t need to be a club member to attend Zen classes. Simply let the front desk know you’re there for a Zen class and follow the signs to our peaceful, tucked-away studio inside this beautiful and expansive facility.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we have a 12-hour cancellation policy for all classes, except Senior and Kids/Family classes. Details on this policy will be provided upon sign up.

What happens if I late-cancel or no-show?
A $10 late-cancel or no-show fee will apply for unlimited members, class passes will be forfeited. However, if something unexpected comes up, simply call or text us, and we will waive the fee.

Are virtual classes available?
Yes! Our Westminster classes are offered virtually. When you register for a virtual offering, you’ll receive a Zoom link 30 minutes before class starts.

Class Experience & Expectations

What if I have an injury or medical condition?
Please inform your instructor before class so they can offer modifications. Always check with your doctor before starting a new exercise routine.

Can I practice yoga while pregnant?
Yes! We recommend attending our prenatal yoga classes or speaking with your instructor for modifications in regular classes. And always check with your OB/doctor before starting a new exercise routine.

What if I arrive late to class?
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to set up. Late arrivals may not be allowed once class has started to avoid disruptions.
